Why does my new iPhone 6 refuse to send Hotmail messages

I have my Hotmail account on my new phone and can receive and download messages, but it does not send messages. I can send Hotmail messages without problem from my iPad or iMac but from my new phone the outgoing server does not recognise my name or my password.

Delete the account and re enter it-

Try deleting the email address and adding it again. My live sends fine.
