gps is on and the ringer isnt helping is there a way to pin point the phone online

Use find my iPhone and it can make it ring even if on silent.

otherwise try a metal detector to help locate it.

Yeah, go through your house with a metal detector. There can't be more than a million metal things there. SMH

In, over, under, around, and through everything. Especially couches, chairs, beds, and vehicles. And on the floor by the toilet.

Find my iPhone would be the best option since you can sound an alarm. If you have a computer go to iCloud.com

I think you should start with cleaning your House...then worry about your Iphone when you are dine cleaning.

iCloud on your computer if it's set up and find my iPhone is turned on. But inside the house is kind of hard.... If you have kids if suggest looking where your kids normally stash things. My daughters have my phone hidden in the weirdest of spots from time to time
