Why is my email freezing up after 8.1 iOS update on my iPad?

Ever since the latest update 8.0 and 8.1 iOS to my iPad, my email freezes up after I have deleted unwanted emails from my inbox. I cannot read the emails I went to keep or send out new emails unless I restart my iPad. This is very frustrating...

Try the following:

1. Go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then delete the email account.
2. Reboot your iPad.
3. Go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars - Add Account and then reconfigure the email account.
