Why do I keep getting emails to myself that I have sent?

I send emails to my wife who has an iphone 6 and I get the same email that I sent her to myself in my inbox?

Is the "Always Bcc Myself" option enabled? You can check by going to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars. It's the 8th option underneath "Mail".
