How can I get music onto my iPhone 3G?

I downloaded some music from YouTube to my PC as mp3 files and can play them on any device I open onedrive on. The problem is that it is streaming music. Ive got an old iPhone I want to use as an iPod and play it anywhere. I can download pictures from the cloud no problem but I can't seem to take the music and store it on my iPhone so I can hook it into my truck line in and play it there. Any ideas on how to do this?

The highest iOS version the iPhone 3G takes is iOS 4.2.1, and therefore you will not be able to use iCloud with it. The OneDrive app requires iOS 7 or higher to use so it's also out of the question. Having said that, you *should* be able to use iTunes and manually sync the music over to your iPhone 3G.
