After Installing iOS 8 Facing Problem in Making Face Time Audio & Video Call

Dear Friends,

I have installed iOS 8 on to my iPhone 5 and iPad Air on 20 September 2014.
After installation I am failing to make Face Time Audio and Video call to my friend having iPhone with iOS 7.
So far I could not find out the reason behind.
Is there compatibility issue between iOS 8 & iOS 7 in this regards?
Please render necessary advice.

No you shouldn't have any issues. Try going into settings and make sure you have your number and any email addresses checked under FaceTime

Dear Kataran,
I have got the number and email address (apple ID) checked.
After calling the ringing sound is also there. The call is received by other side and
I receive the connecting indication. It keeps on showing CONNECTING but
connection is never made.

Yes , you can facetime IOS7 from IOS8 but You will get connection issue on IOS 8 when receiving request from IOS 7. It s a bug need be fixed.
