Downgrade iOS8; help!

I need to downgrade iOS8 to iOS 7.1.2 for a really long reason
I've followed all the tutorials but none work, it keeps coming up with the same error message, as soon as Apple stop signing iOS7 I'm effectively screwed.
Any and all help ASAP appreciated

Try putting ur phone on DFU mode. Shift+restore n select the firmware
NB make sure you download the right firmware for ur device

It gets through the whole extracting software stage and as soon as it preps my phone to restore, it pops up with the error message

Apple might of stopped signing iOS 7.1.2 now.

No way to downgrade I think since the IPSW need to be signed by apple server. Once iTunes communicate with apple server to authenticate the IPSW, apple server reject the ISPW as it figure out that it's not the latest IPSW, so iTunes gives you that error. At this point your iPhone will be force to consume and digest the iOS 8 IPSW.
Jailbreak saving shsh keys used to help downgrading to previously installed IPSW but not anymore.

I was able to downgrade my ipad and iphone 5 back to 7.1.2 using itunes restore, but that was Friday 9/19 in the late afternoon..maybe Apple stopped signing over the weekend? ;(
