Calendar Notifications

My husband and I have 5s's. We have a shared calendar. Whenever I put a new calendar item in. It sends him a notification that he put the item in the calendar. How do I fix this?

That's what it is suppose to do. Everyone who has access to the "shared calendar" will get notified of any changes or additions. If i'm misunderstanding what you're asking, my apologies. If you do not want him to access your information, add it to a calendar that is not shared with him.
