Green screen message

[iMore Question]

All of the sudden Whatsapp started showing a green screen with the message "Turn On Notification". I do not wish to receive notification messages on my phone, I just check my messages when I want to. I have to "X" out of the green screen everytime now. Anyone knows how to remove this?
