ipad air touch screen open-works closed-not works

hello everybody!
i just changed touch screen on an ipad air, and meanwhile i have the device in an open service position (screens 90degrees upward) the touch reacting right and sences al the moves on the surface, as soon as i lay down the touch (upper surface) it stops reacting to any touch input...only the home button works, do you think it is a dead line in the cables or is it something else can be?

I have no idea what the problem could be, but if you replaced the screen yourself, I recommend that you retrace your steps to make sure you did everything correctly.
