I am planning to buy a laptop so i was considering the retina macbook pro 13 inch 256 GB ssd and intel iris .
So i have a doubt that is it good performer all round because looking down to the windwos laptop i would get highest config. As it only contains dual core i5 so would it handle some moderate applications and run some small games well or not..Olease help.

My personal opinion is that most people don't make full use of most of their tech. That said, you haven't mentioned what you're using the laptop for other than saying some small games.
Can you give us an idea of what else you plan to do?

Windows computers are cheaper hands down. IMO though macs are better machines that run better and last longer so in the long run you save time and aggravation going with a Mac. I bought an iMac 4 years ago and it's still running strong. I don't think I ever had a windows machine that could say that.
