How can I get passed ads that pop up when trying to load an app?

When attempting to enter an app I've used for many months, ads for free apps pop up and I'm unable to "x" out of them to proceed with my intended app. How can I correct this? This has only just begun to occur. I can still return to my main display.

Unfortunately, we will see more and more of ads we have to wait through. More full page ads you can't X out. Ads in apps that show in between changes of what we do. Then there's iBeacon that will show ads when we get close to a store. Be warned. They're coming.
