Why am I unable to send photos from my iPhone 5S?

it has never worked from the time I got the phone; i have tried restarting the phone but still nada.

This very thing happened to a friend of mine last night. He ended up restoring his device and now all is well.

Before you try a restore, try reset network settings. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings Tap it. You may need to enter in your wifi passcode afterwards.
