on my Mac Book Pro I have a weekly feature on the Google calendar but not on my new iPhone 5. Is there a way to have weekly view on iPhone or do i the wrong app?

Unfortunately I don't think that is possible on the stock calendar. This calendar offers a week view, and syncs with the IOS and Google calendar.

Welcome to iMore! I don't think the stock iCal calendar has the weekly feature. Not that I've seen. If the Google calendar has that on the iPhone version, you may can add the Google calendar to your phone. I use Calendars 5 by Readdle. It does have the weekly option. Fantastical 2 is another 3rd party Cal that offers the weekly option. There's also a Google calendar client called CalenMob Pro. There's a free version. Here's the links:
