In an attempt to restore my jailbroken iPhone, I used the delete everything option. Can you help me?

Alright so I've read several threads on here and have not seen one where someone has experienced my same problem. In an attempt to restore my phone I used the delete everything option and tried to completely restore from phone. When I realized this was not going to work when I reached the spinning grey wheel on a blank screen I used the home and power button to restart. When I plugged the phone into my computer to restore everything worked well until I got to the end of the downloading of the iphone software update in which case it says something along the lines of connectivity is not good and I need to check my connection settings or try again later. If someone could please help me as to where I could go from here It'd be much appreciated

What is the current status of your device? Can it turn on? Is there an error on either the device, or iTunes?

Make sure device is in DFU mode and restore as new thru itunes
