    My iTunes library has to many songs how do I just pit them all on my macbook and iPod without them going to my iPad

    Do you have iTunes Match? Are you syncing with your PC or Mac? Cn you give us a bit more information?

    Disable "Sync All" in the iTunes sync options for you iPad. Or you could just select what you'd like on it.
