My MacBook got damaged by a leaky roof can I turn it on?

When I try to charge it the light indicates that it is charging. It simply won't turn on is there any way to turn it on? Also can I use my ipad mini as a monitor for it if the screen doesn't work?

Depending on the amount of water damage you might be at a lost since you tried to turn it on before it had time to dry

Get a big bag and put it in with rice for at least 48 hours and hopefully it turns on

Have you tried holding both the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appear on the screen. (No more than10 seconds or so)? If you have, and the display is still not showing anything, I recommend you make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store and think about getting it replaced. If you have AppleCare +, now would be a good time to use it...
