Help! I updated my iPhone5 to the ios version 7.1.1 and am now no longer able to upload photos from my phone to iPhoto on my MacBook Air. When I connect to the laptop via USB and open iPhoto, my device is recognized but the photos never even appear.

In the past, it's been such an easy process: The wheel spun in iPhoto while the photos were being loaded into the software. After all the photos became visible, I was then able to upload all or select only the pictures I wanted to import.

Now the photos do not even appear. I am beyond frustrated and have searched for answers and have even called Apple care to no avail. Anyone have this problem, and better yet, a solution!?

    Thank you!

Probably an issue with iTunes. Make sure you gave the latest version of iTunes, and you might even try a reinstall of iTunes.
