A little help to decide which mac book to get. :) Thanks!

Need to update my macbook. My lovely laptop died and.... well I'm out of the loop because I'm a farmer. I hardly use my computer anymore, but I really need to get these photos off my iphone and it would be great to make some maps and excel spreadsheets and manage my information better.

I have an 1TB external hard drive.
I like to watch movies.
I'm pretty broke (see farmer bit) but I want to invest in something that will last.

Should I get a refurbished Macbook Air? Or just get a new macbook air 13" (I'm more inclined to the size of the 13" and the battery longevity.)

If you're getting the MacBook from a reputable dealer then go ahead and get the refurbished one and grab AppleCare if you can swing it.
