Ok. So Pangu came out of the bloom n released this jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1 which got me real happy as i've been waiting quiet some time for a jailbreak. So I go ahead and update my device to iOS 7.1.1 from iOS 7.0.6 (evasion jailbreak) and then use the Pangu jailbreak tool. Everything works absolutely fine BUT i face this kinda weird problem in which the device screen dosen't turn off, not until I hit the lock-screen button to turn it off manually! Suppose i'm in the music app and i have to
change a song, i hit the next song button but fail to hit the lock-screen button (to turn the screen off), the device screen does not turn off. This causes the device to heat up, also increases battery issues. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Check the settings to see if "auto-lock" is turned off. It prevents the screen from dimming and eventually turning off.
