iMore Question

HI I HAVE A IPHONE 5C AND A IPAD MINI AND I LOVE APPLE PRODUCTS BUT I AM NOT HAPPY THAT I CAN'T PULL UP THE MOVIES ONE I DOWNLOAD THEM TO MY OLD COMPAQ LAPTOP WHICH IS ABOUT 10 PLUS YEARS OLD.
APPLE SHOULD UNDERSTAND NOT EVERYONE HAS OR CAN BUY A NEW COMPUTER.
APPLE COMPUTERS ARE EXCELENT BUT NOT CHEEP EITHER.
I HAVE THE FILES HERE BUT THEY WON'T PULL UP.
SO I DOWNLOADED ITUNES THINKING I COULD PLAY THEM THREW THERE.
YOU GUYS THEN TELL ME QUICKTIME NOT SUPPORTED.
QUICKTIME YES OWNED BY APPLE ! THAT'S UNFAIR.
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW, I AM AT THE END OF MY ROPE HERE.
THANKS
LAURA

Please let me know.

If those movies are unable to be viewed via iTunes on your computer then

1. What format are the movies in?
2. Did you check to see if there's an app capable of viewing the format the movies are in AND is supported by your 10+ year old Compaq laptop computer?
3. Can you not burn the movies on a CD or DVD?

Don't get upset with Apple or any other tech company. They had no idea that you would hold onto a computer as long as you have, especially one that is not made by them. In the tech world, things change rapidly, and if you don't adjust, you will be inconvenienced at some point in time. Anyway, what is the make and model of your Compaq computer, by the way?
