Hi I am an incoming freshman in high-school and want to buy an apple product. Should I get a macbook air or pro an if so what size. I will mainly use this laptop for school-work.

I agree with the Macbook Air. The Air is lighter and cheaper but has slightly less power than the Pro. If it's for general school work though that will not be an issue.

Hi,

Without knowing what you are planning to do with your computer, I am inclined to recommend the Macbook Air as well. It is an excellent general purpose device for schoolwork, web browsing, and media consumption. The rMBP is more computer than you would ever need for these tasks but it also comes with a much nicer display. If you're interested at all in taking A/V or other media creation classes, the rMBP could potentially be used to start learning software that will become very valuable for you in college and beyond.
