issue with loading

my MacBook pro wont load and when i press alt and start, it brings a page showing Machintosh HD and a device. pls what can i do?

Can you please explain what you mean by "loading"? Is it an app or is it on start up? BTW...there is no alt key.

The “ALT” key is the equivalent of the “Option” key if you’re using a non-Mac (“Windows”) keyboard. In fact, on my MPBr, the “Option” key also has the “alt” label.
