Why can't I restore WhatsApp from my iCloud backup?

Hey guys,

I backed up my whatsapp to icloud but after restoring every thing, i can't seem to restore my whatsapp only. Whenever WA has finished restoring, there's a pop-up window that says 'Please launch WhatsApp again to continue'. When I click 'ok', it brings me back to my home page. I open the application again, it starts restoring & the same thing happens again. I have tried many times but the same thing keeps happening.

I also reinstalled the app again & didn't restore my data, it was fine. After a few hours, I couldn't open the app because it was downloading. -____-

Could someone guide me on this?

Seems like you had a bad restore. Try wiping your device again and do a restore from iCloud. Hopefully this will solve your issue

Yeah...been happening to me too....and it's not on iOS alone but also on other platforms.
