Image Output Quality from iPhone Photo Apps

I

iMore Question

Hi,
I am working with a graphic designer that is putting together an album cover for me.
He does all of his images by using iPhone apps only (about 7 folders worth of apps)
The image he sends me back using the highest quality settings is not high quality enough for the template size from my CD manufacturer.

Here is the quality of the photos i sent him:
51.3 m
5184 x 3456 pixels
17.28 x 11.52 inches
Resolution: 300

My apologies for the vagueness, I am not much a photo techie.

Does anyone know how to up the image size, DPI res, or pixels on these iPhone photo editting apps?

Any advice input or feedback much appreciated! Thanks :)

Unless I'm mistaken, attempts to increase image quality beyond the resolution it was created will result in a lower quality photo.

Maybe I was not clear the image i sent him has all the details. It is 300 dpi. He does the iphone app designs and sends it back to me
so the original quality is very high...

The source photo is
51.3 m
5184 x 3456 pixels
17.28 x 11.52 inches
Resolution: 300

pretty HQ if you ask me

i sent that to the designer to use for his iphone apps and he sent it back with the highest quality he could. Which ended up being 72dpi 13.889 x 13.889 inches.

Can these iphone apps export higher image size and or higher res?
