Hi and welcome to iMore.

A few things to try. They may seem silly and trivial but it's worth mentioning just in case you've forgotten one of them.

If you can, try a different cable and different plug. Also try a different socket in your house. Failing that, try connecting to your computer and see if it charges that way.

Does the phone switch on or is it completely dead now? If it does switch on, see if it has the charging symbol in the status bar at the top.
