Can I stream shows via my TV app via my Apple TV?

I have an ipad with tons of TV apps... CBS, ABC, lifetime, CW, ABC family,Xfinity, A&E, and many more... I want a streaing box that I can stream any of these apps I have on my ipad onto my TV.
I have Chrome cast and if I stream netflix (a channel they offer) it plays fine, but if I go to say, ANC.com on Google chrome and stream from there it doe snot stream well at all...

So not only do I want to be able to stream my TV apps to my TV with apple tv but I want it to stream well. Is this possible? I have not gotten any definitive answers.

You can always mirror the iPad via AppleTV... not all apps will AirPlay to an AppleTV.
