I updated my iPad 2 to iOS 7.1.1 yesterday and in Safari, Time For Kids consistently appears as a "Top Hit" in Safari.

    This site is not bookmarked.
This site is not in my history.
This site is not in my reading list.
I have NEVER visited this site before in my life.

I have cleared my history and cookies several times, I have unlinked and linked to iCloud, and I have checked several times to ensure that the above are true. This does not happen on my iPhone 4S which is also linked to iCloud.

    Why is this happening?!

It might be caused by the preload top hits and search suggestions in Settings -> Safari -> Smart Search Field

No, I've always had that disabled. Top Hits still appear above search suggestions without being pre-loaded anyway.

Hmm... I might be based on what sites you have been on...

This was months ago, and I somehow got this to stop on my iPad, but OUT OF THE BLUE, it's started happening again, this time on my iPhone. The exact same sites, NEITHER OF WHICH I HAVE EVER VISITED IN MY LIFE.

This is beyond ridiculous. I have never before encountered such a bizarre problem with any device I've owned. No matter how many times I clear history and cookies, those ******* suggestions persist. These sites do not exist in my bookmarks, they are not open in iCloud Tabs, they are not in my Reading List. I've even deleted all iCloud data from my phone, and this hasn't changed. I am furious.

This also happened to me, a few sites came up, the worst being pov.com (plenty of fish). I am not a user. Although my wife now thinks I am. No history. No nothing. Just a top hit 'suggestion' when you type PO in the search.

If anyone is listening, how does Top Hits choose these web pages?

Had the same problem for ages. I found if you go to the book icon in safari then the glasses icon and the down the bottom hit the show all button and delete the problem site. Hope this helps, I tried everything else and this is the only method that works
