Facetime won't work on my phone. It worked fine last week. It still works fine on my desktop.
I've turned the phone off and on again.
I've disconnected the phone from my apple ID and reconnected it.
I've tried connecting via cellular data instead of wi-fi.
My wife's iphone (on another carrier) does facetime fine from our house - no connection problem.
I have a iphone 4s with T-Mobile and I'm still running iOS 6. I will switch to 7 if I absolutely must, even though it is disgusting, but only if someone tells me that is definitely the reason. And, facetime was working fine from my phone up until today.
Last week I did something to make a particular facetime call come through on my desktop, but now there seems to be no way to get it back onto my phone. Where it says "Add another email" there's no option to add a phone number. On the phone, there is a check mark next to the phone number, but the text is grey (like, when something is not selectable) whereas the email text is black.
At T-Mobile customer support they said that they've been getting a lot of calls this week with facetime problems, but still couldn't help me. Apple's tech specialists didn't get me anywhere either.
Hope for any help, or news if there is any from the iphone world.
Thanks
