    Access that list from iTunes on your computer and click on the "x:" that shows up to hide the apps.

    Is there a reason you might need to delete your purchased list

    To answer your question I would say no it's linked to you Apple ID so creating a new ID would accomplish it but you would also lose everything you purchased

    Once you do delete the app from the library on the left side of itunes then sync your device to iTunes and it will delete there too. Your purchased apps can always bee seen in the app store.

    Even though they may be hidden, you can still download them without paying for them again.
