iphone 5s emails are reappearing after deleting

wait do I need to do to fix this issue my emails are reappearing after I have deleted gmail or yahoo mail in my inbox on the preinstalled email app on my iphone 5s

Try logging out your account from the mail app, and sign back in.

Do you have an archive folder in gmail because once you delete them they will go there first, delete them and they go to trash where you delete them for good.

Are you sure they are reappearing to the same account, or are the emails initially sent to multiple accounts?
