Wireless headphones

Can you use wireless headphones on Apple tv

Wouldn't you just plug your transmitter into your earphone socket on the tv, as the Apple TV was playing?.

The Apple TV system itself does not have native support for bluetooth headphones in this capacity...you COULD however use airplay mirroring from an iDevice or Macbook where the headphones could be connected via bluetooth (but that is just a work around).

This is one feature roku has that I wish Apple TV did .. Headphone jack in the remote. I wonder if apple could make the remote app have this feature using your phone as a receiver for the audio.
