should I buy phone full price and move out of contract with Verizon

If you have the money, and want the freedom to switch carriers without paying an ETF (early termination fee) or if Verizon's service is not great in your area then yes, go for it.

Depending upon data plan selected, we could save from $80-100 monthly by going from Verizon to T-Mobile. This assumes we would break even with T-Mobiles offer to pay off any ETFs.

The only thing that's holding us back now is the risk of losing solid and dependable coverage that we have with Verizon.

So, it's a tough decision if service availability, reliability, and coverage are important.

You get what you pay for. I don't think you'll get the coverage you get with Verizon. Good luck!

As previously mentioned... Remember these 3 letters that you would be paying (ETF) to get out of contract. Are you willing to do that and usually it is pretty expensive depending on how much time you have left. Then you are going to have to answer what you want to do and pay full retail.
