I keep getting messages from one of my contacts only on my iPad and not my iPhone? What do I have to do to get the messages back going to my iPhone too?

More than likely, the person who is sending the iMessage being received on your iPad is using your Apple ID instead of your mobile phone number.

And is your phone set-up to receive iMessages to that ID?

Go to iMessage on your iPad and uncheck your phone number. Go to iMessages on iPhone and uncheck your Apple ID.

Now you'll only get iMessages to your phone number on your phone. If you want to use iMessage on your iPad use you Apple ID, not your phone number.
