Ok im thinking about doing something with my iphone with restoring. I want to make a backup before hand then restore. I would go on my phone and do 'New Phone' WHen im restoring and set that up. Then im gonna get some things on the new restored thing. Then is it possible to put the backup ontop of the data on the new phone? And is it even possible to put the backup back on? Thanks for any replies!

Restoring from backup will replace anything on the device with the condition the phone was in when the backup occured

cinematicme is right. Restoring from an iCloud or iTunes backup is definitive and will wipe out any data you used to have on the respective iphone to which you are restoring.

Normally most people do that if you don't want to go through your new phone and remember all the settings of your old phone but that is the fun of learning your new phone. Welcome and good luck.
