Guys,

I am looking for a password manager application for my iPhone 5. I know 1Password- Password Manager is being used by many of you but it's a bit expensive for me though.

I would like to know your thoughts on Dashlane password tool. Have you ever used it? How's it and how safe it is?

Thank you!

I've been using Password Keeper for over a year. It's free and easy to use and safe. Never used Dashlane.

Look into Datavault as it has the ability to backup to iCloud and Dropbox and has a desktop application for syncing with your app.

I use datavault as well and like it a lot- Has a desktop companion that is great and everything syncs- I know some of these could be expensive but given the information you are using it for I think its worth it.

I've never heard of the app you mentioned in your initial post, however, I've used the following:

1. DataVault
2. 1Password
3. mSecure
4. pwSafe

I have used 1password, and I found it to be really good. I never tried any other Password manager though, but 1Password seems to be a worthy app purchase for anyone looking to keep their passwords at an arm's length.

I've been using 1password it is worth the price for Mac and iOS. I haven't tried anything else. With icloud sync wifi sync drop box sync. It's hard to lose any stuff. Plus 1password keeps other sensitive info like credit card, bank info and software licenses.

Apple should also come up with their own password manager like BlackBerry has its own..
