Iphone going through my junkmail

I was on my iphone and I went into my junkmail folder to check for an email I was expecting. I clicked on it (it's from a safe source) and suddenly my iphone began skipping through my junkmail and deleting it right before my eyes. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm quite shocked and a bit worried. My phone isn't jail broken either (I've heard there are a lot of issues caused by jail broken phones)

Sorry, I haven't heard anything about that. Have you tried rebooting your device. Hold the power button and home button at same time till you see Apple logo.
