Various mail folders have disappeared from my iPad Air

The Sent Items, Drafts, Sent Items mailboxes have disappeared from my iPd Air mailbox . How do I retrieve them. Anyone??

Try the following:
1. Reboot your device and then re-check your mailboxes.
2. If that didn't help, reconfigure your device with that mail service.

This happened to me yesterday. I have gmail and Comcast. Everything in comcast disappeared from iPad, but was still on my iPhone.
I went to settings for both account emails and everything looked normal. I tried everything.

A sales rep, for AT&T, I know, told me to go into my settings,... email, contacts, calanders, and click "add account".
Add your same account that's missing emails, exactly the same with same password.
Close and go the email app. All your emails will all come in immediately.
Worked beautifully.
