    My iphone5 just went off (black screen for 3 days),won't turn on.I tried pressing the home and power buttons for more than 3 mins,also the iphone is not recognized by my laptop but the restore message appears on the itunes and while restoring error 6 appears.

    First of all you really only need to press the combo of the 2 buttons for 10 secs until you see the Apple logo appear. Are you saying the it does not come on at all meaning just plain dead? This is still a fairly current phone so can you remember what you were doing last before this happened? Di you drop it? These type of situations just don't happen. If it is truly dead warranty left on it or not it seems that you may need to make an appt at your closest Apple Store Genius Bar to get to the bottom of it. You may want to try and call Apple to see if you have warranty or not and you will need you IMEi or serial number so have it handy and good luck.
