Music contents shows in iTunes but not on my iPhone

Wondering why it shows no music content on my phone but when I plug it in to my pc and view through iTunes it shows songs that are greyed out. Trying to wipe out all songs on my iphone and start over with a fresh playlist. See attached screenshot.

Thanks for the tip. I've since done a "restore as new" to start fresh and that seems to have have fixed the issue.
