Faceook Messenger font size is huge!

I received a new iPad 2 running ios7, and using iTunes, I downloaded my apps and data from my iPhone 4 running ios6. All is well except Facebook Messenger. The print size is HUGE and now the keyboard is "stuck" and won't roll out of sight. If I uninstall and install again, I will lose all my messages, won't I? Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

That's because you've installed the iPhone version, there isn't an iPad version
