Mail Account setting problem on iphone

Hi on my iphone4 in my settings for mail, contacts, calendars the accounts tab is light grey which means I can't click it, I need to update my Hotmail email settings but cant because of that, any ideas ??

Try and hold down the power and home button until the Apple logo appears and let go, Rebooting your device should restore this issue.

Is the Add An Acct Button what is grayed out? You might have to restore your phone if the first did not work.

It's the full Accounts tab with icloud,Hotmail and add account and also below that the fetch new data that is grayed out, if I restore the phone will it lose all the information from contacts, notes, messages and so on

Do you have "restrictions" enabled for your accounts? If so, remove the restrictions.

Go into settings and then General and look to see if you have restrictions on for your email accts and if so turn them off as instructed above.

Hope I can get some help

Did reboot & have no restrictions

Any ideas
