Question about a cydia app (Pandy)

I'm running iOS 6. I'm about to update to iOS 7 but Pandy is really holding me back because its not available anymore. I have a complete working copy of Pandy Version 0.0.2-16 on my iPhone right now, it works perfectly, I can locate all the install files using AppInfo app. Is there a way to save the applications files, and hopefully put them back on the device, or if it needs to be updated for iOS 7, can it be reversed engineered and then use Xcode to update it for iOS7?

There's not much you can do if the original programmer has abandoned the app... other than finding another programmer willing to pick it up.
