    If you want to have one more password to remember lol go ahead and assign them differently. Omgoodness we all have way too many passwords to pass up an opportunity to consolidate to one less. My vote is to make them the same.

    Since your Apple ID (iTunes) potentially deals with credit/debit card information, IMHO, it warrants a separate set of security credentials from iCloud, which has more to do with connectivity.

    Get yourself a good password manager and forget about it. Of course, YMMV.
