text on ipad mini

i upgraded to a new phone today and now my texts are going to my daughters ipad mini.
it is recognising my # as her's there a way to change her facetime # to her own # .

Did you do anything on this new phone through being tethered to iTunes? If so did you make sure you signed out of your Apple ID in iTunes and sign in with hers? If not more than likely that is your problem, You can set up as new again singed in to her Apple ID. It sounds like you did not.
