Sending emails are not working on my iphone 5s

I have the iphone 5s and trying to send emails are they are not sending . Does anyone know why????

If this problem just started you can first try rebooting your phone and if that doesn't help delete the Email account and re-add it

Do you have multiple email accounts? If so, is it happening with all accounts. Try rebooting your device.

I would lean towards just deleting the email acct and reboot and then re add the acct killing 2 birds with one stone so to speak.
