Hello everyone. I need some advice. I have a lot of videos of my kids on my phone and I want to upload them to a cloud service so they are safe and I can free up some room. I need to know what the best cloud solution is for pics and videos. I have tried Flckr and Dropbox but Flickr won't upload from my phone and Dropbox don't give enough storage and you have to pay $99.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure they all charge a fee after you've surpassed their complimentary storage amount, but the fees vary in price. There's no real best. You just have to decide which is the most economically feasible and convenient for you. Alternatively, you can transfer the photos to an external drive for safe-keeping.

I was gonna go with Dropbox and don't mind paying a fee but they have one option and it is the $99 dollar one.

I've never tried it trough the Flickr app but you definitely upload videos to them from a PC. So you could transfer them to a computer and then to Flickr.

Actually there are many options out there that give you a a lot more storage than dropbox will ever give (for free, that is). For example copy gives you 15GB to begin with and you can increase it through a referral program, here --> https://copy.com?r=XRaeZW you can sign up through this link and it will give you 5GB extra so you'll start with 20 GB and continue to build up as you refer more people. Also there is Mega (from the Megaupload guys) and they give you 50GB. Both options have iPhone apps and are free, of course they also have paid options. I for once use copy to backup my family videos w/o issues so far.

That's what I use and it has never failed me.

If you have a gmail account, Google Drive is great. Gives you 15GB for free right off the top. Works great for me
