Problems when connecting jailbroken iPad to Television using HDMI Adapter.

Hello.

My parents bought an Ipad 1 a while back.
But when I try to connect it to the television it works for about a minute, maybe one minute and a half when I get the error message 'Device is not supported' and it just shuts off.

I've used both Display out and TVout but they give the same error message, I've also modified the .plist file for mirroring but that didnt work either.

I've tried 2 television to rule out that the television is causing the problem, but both television stop working after about a minute, used my girlfriends Iphone 4s to make sure that the cable was working properly, with the Iphone 4s I do not get any errors.

Would anyone know what I could try to fix it?

Well, this person has an iPad 2, I have an iPad 1 which isn't compatible with this method.
Thats why I followed this link (How To Enable Screen Mirroring On iPad 1 - Business Insider) to try and acomplish the same, but rather than working it just works and stops working after about a minute.
