Recently Added Music Won't Appear in "Recently Added" Playlist

Hi,
I was just wondering why my recently added music doesn't show up in my "Recently Added" playlist on my iPhone 5?
Is there a new setting that I need to change (since this has only started happening since iOS7)? Or should I be taking it to an Apple Genius to look at?

Any help and/or suggestions much appreciated.

Hello and welcome to iMore! This music that is not showing up, how are you syncing your music? Are you connecting your iPhone 5 to iTunes via USB? Over wifi?

If I understand this correctly, songs aren't getting auto-added to the 'recently added' playlist on your iPhone when you copy new songs to your iPhone using iTunes?

Yes but think it might only be auto-adding to the 'Recently added' playlist when there are no songs in there already.... It seems to work fine if I haven't added any new music in a while.
Any ideas about why this is happening or how to fix it?
