The option to update will not be available. You will have to restore and then re-jailbreak. Keep in mind, most tweaks you are probably using via the 6.0.1 jailbreak will not be available for a bit on 7.0.4.

I know it's not available, I remember someone saying you have to put your phone in dfu mode and update it that way.. That was the only way to come out of the 6.0.1 jailbreak from evasi0n..

I know many tweaks won't work for ios7 but its just the fact I can't get out of this jailbreak to update to ios7!!

    Any ideas?

Have you tried restoring it in iTunes and then jailbreaking it again once iOS 7 is completely installed?

Once again our resident advisor comes up with a good idea. I was thinking about if that can be done but held off not knowing enough about JB. TY Sean.

To do a clean restore you shouldn't have to put your iDevice into DFU. If you feel the need though, there are plenty of tutorials on how to do so all over the internet.

Once jailbroken, you can't unjailbreak an iDevice without restoring it. So hence, to go to a firmware other than the one you're on (6.0.1 jailbroken), you must restore your device to the latest firmware (7.0.4 non-jailbroken) and then decide whether you want to re-jailbreak.
